The GHA organises events, seminars and workshops on pertinent topics on a quarterly basis. Events are free to members, but there will be a charge for non-members to attend. Please let us know if there are any topics you'd like to see covered by our events programme and check this site for new events as they are added.

"Low carbon: A Reality Check".
Is the focus of government policy on zero carbon homes neglecting broader sustainability issues? Is the industry even capable and sufficiently supported to deliver low carbon homes in reality? How do CO2 emissions from low carbon homes compare to emissions from lifestyle impacts, such as food consumption habits and transport? Would the investment required for zero carbon homes offer greater CO2 savings if applied elsewhere, such as to existing stock?
