Site Visit to The Natural House and the Renewable House at BRE EcoPark
BRE Innovation Park, Watford

Please note extended times: 2-5pm - to allow a visit to the Renewable House as well. Meet in the Innovation Centre at BRE at 2pm. Natural House: GHA Members The Prince’s Foundation, in collaboration with the Building Research Establishment, Natural Building Technologies and Kingerlee Homes, is engaged on this high-profile build project that will demonstrate that a simple approach to building, employing natural materials and ‘passive’ energy solutions, can meaningfully reduce the carbon load of future housing. We will have presentations from Neil May, Kingerlee and the Princes Foundation before visitng the site. Renewables House: We have extended the visit and will spend the last hour looking at the Renewables House. DECC, NNFCC and Lime Technology will be on hand to explain and answer questions. Innovation park - if you want to visit the rest of the park, we have negotiated a discount.
