This event is the first in a series of Education Events from the Good Homes Alliance. It will focus on the GHA code, including its relationship to the Government’s Code for Sustainable Homes and EcoHomes, its implications in practice, and how to deliver buildings to the Code specifications. In particular, the speakers will: examine details behind the Code standards, and the steps that need to be taken to meet the high-level performance standards;  explore the theory behind energy performance and CO2 emission reductions, and explain practical measures that can be taken to deliver the performance standards required  explain the need for the post-construction monitoring, and consider how to do this in real life.
