GHA membership

The GHA has three classes of members: Developers, Associate Members and Non Developers.

  • Developer members have to sign up to the Code and the Charter, which includes monitoring on all new developments. Membership is currently dependent on meeting Code requirements in at least 50% of the homes under construction. We have discounted rates for Housing Associations.
  • Associate members are developers who do not yet meet the membership criteria but want to be involved in GHA efforts to deliver highly sustainable homes.
  • Non Developer members have to sign up to the Charter and will typically be those with a professional interest or direct involvement in Sustainable Housing.

Membership includes Building Professionals, Material and Product suppliers, Charities, Landowners, Government and interested individuals.

Members benefit from the following activities:

  • Free attendance at GHA seminars
  • Networking opportunities with developers, landowners and other key players
  • Access to GHA research and other outputs
  • GHA lobbying and promotion of sustainable homes
  • Invitations to detailed GHA working sessions
  • Developer members will have the opportunity to promote their projects on the site
