Successful series of events to Close the Performance Gap
19 Apr 2011 10:20 am
With three events under our belt (Bristol, Glasgow and London) we are considerably closer to understanding the disparities that exist in the built enviroment between designed and as-built thermal performance. 'Low Carbon 4 Real' explored the problems associated with, and the steps to improve, the performance of new homes and the hundreds of delegates went away with a greater knowledge, the steps they can take to implement change and a broader appreciation of the importance of real sustainability in new homes.
"A very useful and interesting day" Julia Plaskett, Crest Nicholson
"Excellent Performance Gap conference on Thursday - the organisation was exemplary!" Dr David Strong, David Strong Consulting
"I really enjoyed the event last week and found it to be very relevant" Suzanna Durham, Sustainable Homes Assessor
