Town & Country's £34m Sherwood, Kent regeneration

27 Nov 2012 9:51 am

Code level 3 development, with some sustainable materials being utilised.

Phase one
The redevelopment of Sherwood is being split into phases, with Kemble Close being the first phase. The demolition of the 6 blocks at Kemble Close is expected to take around 12 weeks and it is hoped the first new homes will be ready to move into by Spring 2014.

Phases two and three
Silwood Close and Greggs Wood Road along with the Neighbourhood Park and Community Square, the new streets and housing for older people make up phases two and three. We are already well into our plans for these phases. We’ve held a number of consultation events with the public in the past few months, with more to follow.

The new development has been named 'Lakewood'.
