SSE (R & D)

SSE is the first utility to build and monitor its own development of 10 zero carbon homes to understand the changing role of the energy supplier in a low carbon society. The site in Slough, aptly named Greenwatt Way complies with Level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes and features rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling, triple glazed windows, enhanced insulation and its very own renewable heat hub.
