SC2 initiates and progresses innovative sustainable housing and construction projects and strategies, seeking to add value by strengthening learning and skills delivery, sustainable enterprise / supply chain development, sustainable public procurement, sustainable product innovation and sustainable manufacturing capacity e.g. to deliver the economic, knowledge and skills infrastructure necessary to deliver truly sustainable housing and a low carbon society - including sustainable enterprise clusters that may include a sustainable construction training, research and visitor centre; sustainable innovations lab; creative, knowledge and social enterprise hubs / clusters - ideally all integrated with large scale low carbon housing and mixed use sustainable communities development.
